1. Remove the output t ray from the t op of the paper tray. 2. Slide the left edge guid e inside the paper tray to the left as far as i t wi ll g o. 3. Adjusting th e paper thickn ess lever When prin ting on en velopes or heavy paper, you need to adjust the paper thicknes s lever to compensate for the extra paper weight. 1. Make sure the print er is turned on. Then press the Pause button and open the cover.
4. Pul l th e paper out c arefull y. If it tear s, ma ke sur e you remove any remaining pieces. 5. If paper is caught in the paper eject area, gently pull it out of the pri nter. 6. Close the pr inter cover. 7. Tur n on the pr inter to m ove t he pri nt h eads to the corre ct positions.
